The Drager 8317990 Polytron Docking Station is an installation accessory designed for use with Drager Polytron 3000 and Polytron 7000 fixed gas transmitters. It provides the mechanical mounting arrangement and electrical connection interface required to install the transmitter in a fixed gas detection system. One docking station is required for each compatible transmitter.

The Drager Polytron Docking Station allows installers to complete mounting and electrical wiring before installing the transmitter. Its rain cover helps protect the connection area against dust and splashing water during installation and before commissioning. The transmitter can then be inserted into the docking station and secured using its quick-lock mechanism, making installation and maintenance more convenient.
