The Drager PEX 3000 Fixed Gas Transmitter is designed for the continuous detection of flammable gases and vapours in industrial environments. It uses a catalytic bead sensor to measure combustible gas concentrations and provides a measuring range of 0–100% of the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). This version, XTR 0001, is supplied with a 100% LEL sensor and a large transmitter housing.

The transmitter converts the detected gas concentration into a standard 4–20 mA analogue signal for connection to compatible central controllers and gas monitoring systems. Its catalytic sensor technology supports fast gas detection and stable measurement performance. The transmitter also features an internal two-digit display and two operating keys, allowing calibration and maintenance to be performed directly at the unit without an additional handheld control device.
